The Melrose Symphony celebrates 100 years of making music in Melrose with a free outdoor pops concert for the entire community to enjoy!

Come hear crowd favorites including music by John Williams, a tribute to Henry Mancini, popular marches, and the iconic 1812 Overture complete with a fireworks grand finale.

Bring your picnic blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy fantastic music under the stars!  

Free & Open to the Public; No Ticket Required

Pops Concert with the Melrose Symphony!
Enjoy a 90-minute concert with a 20-minute intermission. Music from John Williams, marches, and crowd-favorites will be performed.


Fireworks Display Over Ell Pond
Enjoy fireworks over Ell Pond at the conclusion of the Melrose Symphony concert. Sponsored by the City of Melrose and Waste Management Services.

FAQs

Will there be Road Closures?
Yes, more information coming soon.

Where should I park?
Walking or biking is strongly encouraged. Please view the map for available parking lots.

What should I bring?
Blankets, folding/beach chairs, food, beverages - are all welcome. Please do not bring tents or canopies. There is also no grilling or open flames, smoking, or bicycles in the fenced area.

Is there an accessible area?
Yes. The accessible area is located behind the VIP seating area. Persons with disabilities are admitted into the designated area on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person is allowed one guest and that guest is allowed to bring a folding chair. 

What is the rain policy?
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Memorial Hall (590 Main Street, Melrose) at 7 pm. Since there is limited seating, the concert will be live-streamed on Facebook. There is no rain-date. Please check this website for any cancellation or weather updates.
